anyone have rims/tires i can rent for a weekend socal roadtrip?

as the title states.... i'm going to socal in a few weeks for the weekend (fri-sun) and that would make me feel the need for new tires now instead of later, and i'd rather put off that purchase for now.

so i am wondering if anyone has a set of spare rims/tires, 16, 17, whatever, that i can rent from you for this trip to socal. i can leave my 17 celebrations as collateral also. i'll be gone from 8/8-8/10. thanks!

are ur tires just really bald and unsafe? my 19's are just sitting around if you REALLY can't find anyone else.

i wouldn't say they're unsafe for the trip down, but they are balding. i'm just trying to be cautious instead of sorry... i'm also searching craigslist for some cheap tires, that route still isn't out of the question....

so i guess also, does anyone have any 225/45/17 used tires for sale cheap?

I have a set of 17" sport rims with some tires on them....they probably have about 40% tread or so.....

Shoot me an offer I'll let them go for cheap!!!

Go to Pepboys and get some Hankooks for like $80 each.

i don't even want to spend that much, just need something to get me through for a little till i can get the tires i want, bf goodrich kdw2's.... might be picking up 2 tires w/ ~30% tread off craigslist, but they have camber wear on the outside........

i don't plan on being mismatched for more than a couple weeks, if that. a few weeks wouldn't make a difference would it? i had thought about that too....
