In summaryt, I'm really impressed by the slalom and braking numbers but, utterly disappointed with the straightline figure. The interior is still the best in its class + the longer wheel base provides enough legroom for the passengers sitting at the back.

Anyway....if someone from Audi comes upto me and ask "what can we improve on??" I would definitely point at the engine. I care about the fuel economy. And if others can offer power along with economy, why not Audi.

Who exactly is providing more power for the same fuel economy? This is always the trade off which looking at the world fuel prices is why Audi is going to a supercharged v6 for the next S4. More consumers look at fuel than look at power. Big reason so many S4's are being dumped in the US right now.

I think this motor is right on par for competition with the BMW 330.
