hey guys i am looking into getting into a set of wheel adapters, my current bolt pattern as you know is 5x112, and i am looking for somthing that goes to 5x114.3... any suggestions? and another question is, the front wheels are 8.5 inches wide, and the rear are 9.5 inches wide, will they fit or cause rubbing?

    Re: wheel adapters

You need to do a search. And I HIGHLY doubt that any 5x114.3 wheels you find will have the offsets required to use adapters.

Furthermore, you don't need adapters to fit 5x114.3 wheels on our cars. They make special "wobble" bolts that let you safely mount them.

really? I've never heard of them.. the offset for our cars needs to be 35mm right?

    Re: wheel adapters

Most wheels that fit our cars tend to be in the 35ish range, but bear in mind that an 8" wide wheel with a 35mm offset will fit much differently than a 9" wide wheel with a 35mm offset (the 9" wheel will stick out 13mm farther than the 8" wheel).

    Re: wheel adapters

hey capt. obvious, thanks for your help so far... i took some measurements and found an online offset measuring guide, and i came up with this... the front tires are mounted on a 8.5 inch wheel, 245/40zr18 97y... the rear tires are mounted on a 9.5 inch wheel and they are 275/35/r18 99y... and according to the website i found that measures and calculates offset, the front wheels are offset by +39 and the rear are offset by +40... now when i measure i used a straight edge and lay it across the backside of the wheel and tire and came up with 6.75 inches in the back, and 6.25 inches in the front, sorry lol im tryin to explain this the best way i can, ive never really delt with all this stuff before... thanks again for your help

    Re: wheel adapters

Those offsets and sizes will fit fine for the wheels. The Tires WON'T though. Put the 245/40's from the front on the rear wheels and get 235/40's for the front. Or, get 235/40's all around. Or, get 225/40's for the front and 235/40's for the rear. Don't go with the latter unless your car is slammed though.
