    how to start detailing as a job?

    I was just wondering how all you detailers got started doing what you do, how much of a hole you dig to get started, etc...

    A little bit of financial advice would be nice

    600 dollars

    you start out not doing much (i'm still at that stage). you eventually get it all back (august is my big month)

    $2500 should be everything from machines to a good amount of product and pads/towels.

    Get your garage organized, put some advertising posters to get a feel a decent professional look. 600 worth of material + tools won't get you anywhere besides looking like some shoe shiner.
