    Rim and Tire question

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello all,

Ive recently come across a really well priced set of rims,

19" Moda MD3. Unfortunately, after taking them home they seemed too wide. I measured the total width from edge to edge and the width comes up to 9.5". However after some reading it says to measure from bead seat to bead seat.

So assuming that this rims are 8.5" in width, will they fit both front and rear of a 2001 C5 Quattro?

    Thanks!
    Gerard

    Re: Rim and Tire question

you have to take the offset into consideration as well and also tire size.

    Re: Rim and Tire question

TireRack lists an offset of 32 for the 19x8.5 wheel for an A6, with a suggested tire size of 235/35/19. Look for a stamped numerical value on the wheel that should look like: "ETxx" If it says ET32 on it, the wheel should fit w/o issues.

    Re: Rim and Tire question

Well I just tried test fitting and the rims stick out... ARGHH SOOO angry

19 x 8.5 ET32 doesnt seem to work. Then again I had no tires..

Can someone please provide me the exact offset for a 2001 Audi A6, 2.8L??

    Thanks!!!
