Window cracked

Anybody know about the average price to replace the front windshield (parts+labor) in California? Got a huge crack in the right corner of the window (goes about a foot or so up towards the middle)

Also my sub isn't getting power, just a fuse? And recommendations on new speakers that won't rape the wallet?

My former neighbor (LG foothills) is in the "business" and should be able to help. His name is Kurt, and can be reached at [email protected] Sorry, don't have a phone number as he has moved recently, and I am out of the country. He will come to your place (home or work) and do the job onsite. Previously have had him replace the windshield in my M3, and a side window in a Honda...and he did a flawless job both times. Nice and trustworthy guy, and will give you the straight s**t on prices, options, etc...and tell him Steve from Villa Glen says "Hi" from France.

I was quoted $204 or something on http://www.safelite.com/ they use OEM glass. Going to get it done next week.

BTW, is that spxx's (or whatever his name is) old car?

Thanks, I'll shoot him an email. My mechanic wants my car in a German auto club so he may be able to help me if I can't get ahold of your guy. Lucky you having an Audi in Europe. So much cheaper for repairs haha.

I wish things over here were cheaper...never leave the local garage with a bill less than 400 Euro, no matter what they are fixing.

Small world. Yeah, Kurt is normally ripping around the local hills (LG) in his silver Subaru...can usually hear him coming up the road, with that typical WRC pop between shifts. Autocross is what he has used that ride for, I think he sold the Shelby some time ago.

Oh one of my lady friends lives in Germany and said things were much cheaper so maybe that's only there or she's just crazy? It could go either way. Hopefully you have more $$$ than me so you can afford repairs heheh. I'll work the corners to pay for this window until I get a 2nd job. Everything died on my car at once...I have a very intense story about it...

A little snipit...90 mph when things went bad...I could win money telling the story haha.
