Is this a "ghetto" mod?

It looks good if done properly, you should also smoke the reflectors.

I wouldn't say ghetto. Lots of people have done it, but unless you put in brighter lamps, you can run into liability issues if you were to get in a wreck. That being said, I don't really think it adds a whole lot to your car especially if the only thing you tint is your tails. I'm either/or on this one.

Sorry but it looks ghetto, too many Accords and Civics driving around with that look. A slight tint would be more tasteful.

I never really liked it, but like stated before, if you put on a SLIGHT tint, you could pull it off I think. That with the addition of blacking out your emblems would look hot IMO.

this is only true if you make your tails very dark. i have tinted a few different sets of tails and have never had and issue seeing the lights light up.

Never really have been a fan of the smoked tails at all. IMO it looks much better the way it is now.

Too dark. If you are going to do it, make it a SLIGHT tint and do the reflectors as well. I also like the suggestion of the black emblems.

that's a good mod but i hope the cops dont bother you about it.
VHT Nite Shade is a good way to do it. I did it on my B6 tails

if you follow up the tails and reflectors with black rings and badges you may have something going for you but you may need to follow that up with a wheel powdercoat to finish up the look. Which in the end would turn out very stealthy but you need to pull all of the components together to make it uniform.

like that, they have the ambers in them, unique look, not too sure if im into it. havent seen any in person or many pictures of them so i'm reserving judgement on them.
