I had a Boost Leak and didn't even know it.

When i installed my Forge DV the hose that was directed out of the DV i just stuck into my airbox figuring that the air was just being released. After going to waterfest and talking to the guy at Forge (great guy btw) i realized i was supposed to have that hose directed back to the car. Now instead of boosting 14-15lbs through the rev band im more like 17psi and spiking almost 20psi. The car is pulling so much harder.

I have been running my stock DV for over 30k too...nothing wrong with it at all, I am also wondering why is everyone upgrading it before it reaches failure

I only spike at about 16psi then hold around 15psi. Am I supposed to be boosting more?

Stock boost is about 10 psi - You have to read ambient pressure and then subtract that from the total. 20psi peaks would be right for a flashed car.
