S-Line Bumper Alignment issues

ok, I have searched the other threads and have not really found the answer I was looking for.

Here is the issue. i recently did the clear corners mod on my headlights. At the time I put everything back together I didn't really notice the alignment and gaps between the grill and the hood. Needless to say, I finally noticed the gap issue. Over the weekend I pulled the bumper again and re-installed in an effort to get the alignment where it needed to be.

The frustrating part is that when i get the gaps between the grill and the hood aligned, the bumper starts to bulge under the headlights and forms a gap where the bumper meets the fender/wheel wells. Any suggestions on how to get the bumper lined up.

I am starting to wonder if the alignment problems are due to not getting the headlights installed in the car correctly. Is that possible?

Pics would help. Did you adjust the bumper posts on the rebar at all...that would misalign the bumper when you put it back on. Its also best to have a friend help to put it back on for even fitment.

I will try and take some pics to describe what I am talking about. I did adjust the bumpers on the rebar to raise the bumper, but as soon as I got the top of the grill flush with the hood and even, the bumper started to bulge under the headlights. hence the reason I was thinking I may not have the headlights in completely correct.

I am having the exact same problems, but from my RS4 grill install. I even took it to a audi shop last week and they couldn't figure it out... Really don't want to take it to the dealer. Please let me know if you find out anything. I'll let you know if I find anything myself. Thanks

I have to take my car into the dealership tomorrow so I may get them to take a look at the bumper and grill. I will post whatever I find out. I am sure it is going to cost me. the stealership always does.
