How to make headlights flash when unlock/lock

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Is there a way to make the actual headlights flash when you lock/unlock the car? Normally its just the corner turn signals that flash, but I just installed HIDs and I think it would look sick...
2001.5 TIP Audi A4: Sport Edition, Brilliant Black, Chrome Exhaust Tips, NGK Laser Platinum Spark Plugs, 8000K HID headlight kit. Nothing really, just got my timing belt done at 86K

Planning to get: RS4 Grill, Kicker Sound system, Clarion Double-Din Head Unit, 5% Rear 35% Front Windows Tint, HID fog lights, up to any suggestions...

HIDs can't just "flash". They need to be ignited.

Re: How to make headlights flash when unlock/lock

Besides, its generally not good to for the HID ballasts to flash on and off. This problem also comes up when people are looking to install HID kits on their high beams. Most say that you will fry the ballasts pretty quickly if your in the habit of flashing your brights frequently.

All of the factory HID cars I have seen do not allow flashing the HIDs for the alarm for this reason. If you have Bi-Xenon, where there is a motorized cutoff flap, you can flash your brights as another ballast/bulb is not ignited.

on my 97 the parking lights only flash when you lock it, not on the unlock via remote, if I could easily change that, I would
