Old meet new...

Well, I pulled the trigger this weekend on a 2008 Imola Yellow/Titanium pkg RS4. This will be my third yellow Audi - I guess I just can't get enough.

The dealer wanted to move the car, so I got a great price, 0% financing for 72 months through Audi Financial, as well as included maintenance. The dealer also does 2-3 track events per year so I also get to go to all the remaining track events in 2008 and all of their 2009 dates free. This dealer also gives a free 10 yr/250k mile engine warranty to all their cars (all internally lubricated parts) so that's actually pretty sweet.

I've already installed my RS4 flat bottomed wheel, done all the VAG-COM programming changes for the lights, door locks, window roll down/up, etc.

So the A4 goes to its new owner today after the suspension is swapped out. I'll be moving my Stasis SLs over to the RS4 in the near future. Should help with the ride height - my wife's first comment when she got in the RS4 was "This sure sits high..." :)

I don't doubt that the STaSIS SLs will fit on the RS4, but are they valved correctly for the RS4s weight as well? You could probably send them to STaSIS to have that done in order to keep handling proper. The RS4 is quite heavier, especially up front.

Damn... That ride is straight sick! I can't wait to have enough money to have multiple cars. I would love to have another yellow car, but I got tired of driving my first one every day. Then again, had it been an RS4... thing might have been alot different.

So true. I sold the one we had on our lot a month ago (managers felt that we would never sell it, the day we put in on the showroom floor i sold it very quickly)!

I talked to Stasis about this option when I bought the SLs, and confirmed with them last week. They can send me the higher rate springs for the Coilovers that we can swap out here. I've actually already done this once on the A4 as I felt the original spring rates weren't high enough for the track, so we went with a higher rate front and rear.

Once the Coilovers are out of the A4 it's a pretty quick swap to the higher rate springs, then onto the RS4.

great car and awesome color. however, you didnt mention how much you saved, just that you got some bonuses. I hope the dealer cut out at least 10k on price, cuz ive seen ones here at deep discounts (~12k off!)

Man, just the financing is a great deal! 0% for 72 months? Is that from AFS or a third-party lender?

Hell, I would buy an RS4 for that financing offer with a few other discounts and that engine warranty. What is the name of your dealer and do they have any more?

I bought it from Ken Garff Audi in Orem Utah. They have one RS4 left, and it's a Convertible (Red/Black).

My 0% is through AFS, but the dealer had to contribute to get the rate (adding to their loss). I know AFS is also doing 0.9% on pretty much any new Audi right now up to 72 months, so if anyone is on the fence about a new Audi, now is a great time.

Plus, if you're an Audi Club North America member you get an additional $500 back from them after the best deal you can work at the dealer. You just submit the paperwork to the club after the deal is all done and they mail you a check.

There's another dealer in Salt Lake City where I was looking at cars - Dave Strong Audi that has 6 RS4s in stock at 0.9%. Talk to Rob Carter about those - 801-231-4387.

Strong's not dealing much, I was quoted $400 below invoice and 0.9% on an S4 last week. I think they will have to come down much more before they move any.
