A 220 Ohm, 1 WATT (Power Dissipation Rating) resistor is recommended to prevent the lamp failure warning regardless of the application. The bulb check system uses the same method of checking all of the stock incandescent lamps, so the same resistor value that works for the City Lights, will also be suitable for LED tails, or any other lighting monitored by the bulb check system. The resistor is connected in Parallel with the LED, not in Series, (in-line before OR after the LED,)
