Check to see if you can just re-enter the radio code. If the battery went too low, the radio may think that it has been stolen and is locked out. Normally there is a card in the User Manual/folio which has the proper code for the OEM radio. Otherwise your local dealer "may" be of help, but will likely charge you for the "service".

Same exact problem. Car was sitting for a few months while I redid my head gasket in my spare time. And um... battery died. Once I replaced the gasket--- I noticed the radio was dead. It isn't locked or anything. The display is completely dead. I checked the fuse #37--- anything else it could be? Do these headunits die after sitting for a while?

Wondering a bit about this myself...Mine seems to get locked in the "Phone" mode after periods of sitting. I have never had a mobile phone connected to it, so I am at a loss as to what to do...gives me quite the scare until it goes away...which can take days.
