    Possible engine swaps

    Hi,
I have tried seaching for some of this info on this site and many others, and have come up with nothing more then a 1.8 T and a VR6 may fit.
I'm need to put a new power plant into my 1993 Audi 90 Quattro, the 2.8 V6 has thrown a timing belt, so I've been trying to think of possible engines, I'm thinking of a 1.8 T from a A4 or a Passat, or a VR6... then turbo it at a later date. What do you think? And what would bolt up and what are the other accesories needed to complete such a task?
    Thanks in advance.
