First of all I want to say Thanks to Brett, Greg and everyone else involved in making this such a good experience this year. Last year I wandered aimlessly with a couple friends. This year I got to meet and hang out with some great people. Had an awesome time. Especially after my second and third wind kicked in on the second day. Man was it a long week building up to this weekend and 2hrs of sleep this weekend was all worth while. Got quite a few parts that will eventually make their way onto the car and damn did I take quite a few pics. 237 to be exact. I will post them up as soon as I get a chance. No comp at home and work blocked AZ on me. Think they are trying to tell me something. Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks again for such a great time and I'm really glad I met all you guys. Looking forward to H2O and Show N Shine so maybe we can meet up and do this again. A whole year is way too long. I promise to get pics up as soon as possible. To all the Jersey Shore guys. Theres a couple months left of good weather. Lets get a get together going soon. Anyone that didn't make it....... Start making travel plans now so we can get the biggest crew going at the show next year. :)

I would definitely say that we had a really great turnout this year. We had a great group of people who really pulled it together and made it a nice weekend.

Thanks again to everyone for coming out and helping out!

It was well worth paying the extra couple bucks and waking up at the butt crack of dawn to be able to park in the exhibition area and hang by the cars. My pasty irish ass is burnt to hell. Thank god for those tents. I wish I took more advantage of them the first day but I had to get the "kid in a candy store" out of my system the first day. If only they had usp fronts for sale. I'd be in my garage right now instead of passing out. And Brett, I think I've opened and closed my windows with my remote about 50 times. Thanks for the vag. Don't realize how much I appreciate it. Wish I did the rewire so we coulda done the fogs. I'll just have to wait til I get some hids for the fogs to make it worth while. :)

It was my first time at an Audi meet and it was pretty awesome. The heat killed it for me, but really took a beating on my wife. I did find someone that I haven't spoken to for many many years under the tents of AZ so that was a big plus. Thanks Brett for the gathering and the tents, and thanks for naming me twice. LOL !!!

I hope the bev's did you good today, it was brutal where I was. Couldn't imagine how it was on the Asphalt Beach.

LOL ! It was put to good use ! I would be glad to do so in the future, I just wish the grilling came so we had a huge BBQ festival under the tent as planned. I wonder how much meat was take home.

For those who wondered, I was the Asian guy with the green nike's on with the Stussy shirt. I was driving the B6 S4 with the Sportec kit.

Dumbest decision of WF was not hanging with you guys. Originally I signed up to be with DVAG, but that totally failed. I did autox in the morning (amazing), so by the time we were finished around 1, there wasn't even a chance to find the others so I ended up parking up in the boondocks of the overflow parking. I eventually found my way over to you guys, talked to B7Projectile for a bit, then kept wandering. Next year, I definitely know what I'm doing.

Btw, two vids of me autoxing

Ryan showed up at 3PM with the big grill but, this guy Ese brought a small grill and we were cooking by 1 o'clock or so.

Today however, was a full-on Waterfest party!! We had so much food and drink it was staggering. There was a massive pile of coolers and buns to go with all the grilled goodness.

I didn't even notice. I was so hot, and not bothered to move my meal consisted of Water & Cigarettes. The interesting part was the flying ninja tents. Felt bad for the guy who owned the Caractere B6 A4, That tent went after his car so many times when the breeze kicked up.

I can't remember if we got the formal intro but I'm pretty sure you and I first crossed paths when the dude at the entry sent us the wrong way and u turned around in front of me. I was the red head with the silver b6 with not much done to it. I'm Brian by the way and bro, your car is beautiful. That sportec and those bbs look killer. And yeah, the bigger grille showed today and I believe some of us ate our weights in food.

I believe we crossed paths, but can't remember. Talked to a few guys under the tents but names didn't really stick to my head really. I remember when we turned back around I talked to someone with a Green B6 A4, and some dude who almost smacked me speeding down one of the parking lanes after going offroading in the grass to make the u-turn.

Im Marty btw. Alot of people were asking about the rims, They're Work Euroline XR's that were discontinued in early 2007. Everyone thought they were BBS RX's with red center caps for some reason.

My wife forgot to bring the camera for the festival of vag-cars, so hopefully everyones pictures will be plentiful.

That green a4 was pondside. He was directly behind me. You turned around and said something like I don't know where we're supposed to go and I'm going this way or something and then stopped to bs with him I believe. I got turned around and told to pull over and park like 5 different times before they let us drive up to a gate. They had no clue where they were directing people to go the first day. Thankfully we were there so early today the traffic nazis weren't there to f' up the entry process.

Brian, Yeah I turned around because I saw Joon on the other side of the gate and he kept pointing to come over, So I was like FUG THIS !! and turned around. It was confusing, all it had to say on the flier was "exhibition and race proceed to gate 3 of the venue". No one that was working there standing around helped much either. Next time, we'll all know better.

VJ ! Thanks bro. Was awesome chatting it up with you under the tent !

Thanks daft for the AZ stickers. I didn't get a chance to chat with much of you guys even though I seen some of your name tags but definitely looking forward to next year.

Nice to have met you folks -- yep, you're the the ones: contributing to my delayed mid-life "issues" and various symptoms of mod flu. Door blades, spoiler en route, debadged grille in closet (the cheap ones) ... and exhaust/suspension (the expensive ones) sure to follow. Hell, you even have me looking at 18" rims after swearing 17 were plenty. We'll be seeing pix of the cupra on A6 soon, right Frank?

Thanks, Daft and Slimm for the organizing. Next year you can put me on the Sat bring-the-grill committee. (Though it was almost too hot for anything beyond liquids.) Edgewater, eh?

by far the best. well organized, a ton of food/drinks (a f'n bbq), 5+ tents/awnings, plenty of chairs, cool ppl and just a good'ol time shit talking about all the ppl who didn't come and who cause a fuss on the forums

you'll have to be super patient on the pics. how did I become the official photog anyway? I don't remember any monies exchanging hands. And although that one hotdog I had was stellar, by no means was that payment
