correct me if im wrong, the cat-back should fit (minus the tips). it's only the downpipes that are different?

Here is what you need to know:
Downpipes: differ between transmissions, but not platforms
Catback: differ between platforms, but not transmissions

That said, if you are adventurous, you can modify your bumper (or pay a pro) to have wider openings for the B7 quad tips.

I was actually wondering this same thing. My buddy has a Milltek RS4 exhaust for me that came off a 2007 at the dealership and I was wondering how much work it would be to put in on my 05 S4
