    J3RR3L's Silver B6A4

I figured that I finally make a bio of my car. I have not done too much to the car, but figure since I am a picture whore that I could post as many pics without looking like a newb.

Well, I bought my car in Atlanta at the end of 2003 without the intentions of hooking it up. I traded my 2002 RSX-S for it at the time. Funny thing is the guys at the dealership was trying to get me to buy a 02 S4. Sometimes I wish I bought that instead, but then again things happen for a reason.

Here is my ride in pure stock form. It was actually taken in 2004 in VA where I live now.

Sometime in 2004- Here is a pic of my CSL reps from Hartmann. I was really into the E46 and the CSL look, so I hunted around for these for a while and came upon this set. They decided to discontinue these wheels for the Audi, which makes me a few owners to have these, but also will make it difficult to replace. I also installed Eibach springs and shocks at the same time. The pics are right after the installation and captured the car in the resettling stage.

Later in 2005- Purchases include Caractere front bumper, Zender front lip, S4 mirror caps, S4 blades, and some other misc items. I decided to do the whole Caractere and Zender combination after seeing a pic of JetJocky’s ride. I also decided to buy my first house, so installing my new parts had to wait.

    Re: J3RR3L's Silver B6A4

2006-Finally, I saved enough to pay to get my Caractere bumper painted along with the sides and rear. During this time, I started to play around with the camber setting in the rear.

In the middle of 2006 I also came across some TT225 injectors, so I decided to chip my car (APR+1). During the same time, I installed a Forge007 DV. Here is a pic of the ride at DynoTuned Performance

At the end of 2006 I had to replace my timing belt and water pump, so once again I took the opportunity to do some go mods. I really wanted to go GTRS, but took that money and bought some new flooring for the house. I ended up with the APRK04 setup. In addition, I added Forge TIP. Evolution FMIC, Evolution Test Pipe, ABD CAI, and Carbon fiber engine cover.

    Re: J3RR3L's Silver B6A4

2007 was slow since I had to travel out of state for work.
In 2008 is where I came around and saved up for the GTRS. Once again something else came up, my new addiction Mountain biking. Therefore, I bought the bikes, equipment and rack system. (these pics are recent, since i dont have any pics of the bikes during the time of purchase)

-2008June: My dumb ass ran into the garage with my bike on the roof. I decided to paint the roof black.

    -July2008: As it sits now:

I need to refinish my wheels and thought about doing black. If you have any photoshop skills, I would love to see them in black.

Thanks steadysupreme. I bought the rims from Evolution Motorsports in Washington State, but one year they just dropped off the planet. Too bad, they were really cool guys. Anyways, Hartmann stopped making them for Audi, but VMR and I think Tenzo makes similar wheels.

Arclight: yeah its an S4 grill from ECS..thanks for the compliment

The front splitter is Kersher from NAmotorsports for $334. As for thee wheels, I believe VMR makes similar wheels and so does AE performance. I have no experience with either of those manufactures. thanks again for the kind words....

I haven't updated this in a while and a lot has changed.

    Engine:
(2009) Finally installed my GTRS kit before i went over seas for work in 2009. I went with Unitronics 630cc file. The file and turbo has been running strong at 19psi for the whole time i had it.
(Present 2012) Car is currently at RAI for their BAT GTX301R Install

    Wheels/supsension
(2010-2011 )Switched out my 19'' CSLs for 18" CHs.
I also switched out my Eibachs shocks with Koni FSDs. Then I switched the setup with with H&Rs and Koni sports. Funny, since my first set of springs were H&Rs.

    Body:
(2010-2012) Sold my DTH sides and bought Charactere sides. Sold the Charactere sides and bought OEM DTM sides (still sitting in my garage)..LOL
(2011-2012) Removed my Carbon front splitter and bought another splitter, which is still sitting in my garage.

    More on the Engine build:
Like I said from my previous post, I installed my GTRS kit in 2009 until recently. It ran strong the whole time and the only reason I took it off is to make room for my GTX3071 kit from RAI.
Here is a pic of my GTRS before I installed it.

I always wanted a top mounted big turbo, so I took the chance when I got the green light from the wife to rebuild my motor. The car isn't totaly finished. Hopefuly Ray can tune the car this week.

Here is the parts breakdown of RAI's kit (major components)
    - GTX3071 (polished housing/63 AR)
    - RAI exhaust manifold and dump tube
    - RAI custom single exit exhaust
    - Maestro (MAF-less)
    - Tial Wastegae
    - Snow Stage 2 Water Meth
    - 725cc Injectors
    - IE Drop in Rods
    - IE Dowel Pin kit
    - Supertech Head components
    - RAI custom return fuel solution

pics of my engine build from RAI's website:

Sorry to hear about your issue in your latest thread. Unfortunately I can't help much as I would have tried the same things you have so far. I'll post here, I don't want to clutter your new thread.

I'm curious as to how your setup ran before your problems started. I have a very similar setup but I've never run more than 12 psi since I've been too busy/lazy to put my rods in :p

Do you have a dyno with this setup? A dyno plot may push me to get to work

Thanks man. The car ran great, with it being a little fat with fuel on high boost. I don't have any copies of my dyno, but Ray from RAI might still have them. It was hitting around 300- 350, which was way lower than they expected. Regardless, it hit hard and consistent, which was more important to me than being a dyno queen. It boost very close to my GTRS with triple the punch (if that makes sense). Plus it had very usable power around town.

I rarely get on boost, but when I do ... it feels awsome. Hope that helps

    Thanks.

I just got my car back from RAI not too long ago. I sent the car straight to a paint shop to get the front bumper and roof resprayed. I need to take some pics when I get it cleaned..

Here are some pics before the car got towed to RAI a few months back.

The car is running, but I haven't pushed it or logged it. I can say that since I got it back, it pulled a crank sensor error twice. Once an hour after picking it up from RAI and then a second time the other day. I also had a low oil light a 1hr 1/2 after picking up the car from RAI.

Going to drive the car around cautiously for a few months and report back to the community.
