So i Vag'ed something the other day and i got some strange side effects.. I belive it was the seatbelt chime or region code that i changed but now i cant remember.. When i pull the key out the hazard light stays semi-lit, and the rear view mirror stays on.. a few other things stay lit too and Im worried it is draining the battery.. is there any way just to reset all changes ever made with vag-com?

    thanks

no there is no way to reset all changes ever made with vag-com, maybe you need to take some ginko biloba to remember what you changed and go fix it.

Coding or adaptation channels? In the case of adaptation channel values, you can store 00 in channel 000 to reset all adaptation channels to the default values.

No, not in soft coding. The reset described is for the adaptation channels. If you did not change any adaptation channels, then you should not reset adaptation values. Instead, re configure the coding value to restore the coding to the OE state. You can also find out what the coding on a similar A4 is and use that. I can try an help with the coding to use, what are the specs of your A4? M.Y. trans, engine, etc.

Yes, that is normal behavior. It does it in my '05. Turns off after a minute or two.
