    Question about O.Z. wheels

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
First question do they take ball seat or cone seat lugs?

Second, I have what I think are an old set of Superleggeras they have those lip protectors. A couple of the protecters are curbed up. Is there a "regular" wheel underneth them? If so how do you remove the protectors. Or do you have to put new ones back on.

    Thanks in advance,

    Re: Question about O.Z. wheels

All Audi bolt pattern wheels should use conical seats. As for the "protector", I've never seen one. We sell the 3 pc. wheels that have a outer lip as one of the componenets, but its all one piece.

    Re: Question about O.Z. wheels

I'm a little confused by your reply. Stock Audi wheels take Ball seat lugs, or were you saying all Audi Fitment OZ's take conical?

They aren't Superleggera III's, I'm not even sure they are superleggeras any more. They only have 5 sets of spokes (10 total) unlike Ultras and Superleggeras which have 6 sets (12 total) of spokes.

They only have the OZ logo no name of the model. I guess I'll put a picture up soon, to show what I mean.

    Re: Question about O.Z. wheels

Post a pic of the wheel, although with 10 spokes and the outer lip you're referring to my guess are OZ Classe's. Also, there are some OZ wheels that use ball seated lugs, such as the OZ Superleggeras.

    Re: Question about O.Z. wheels

A part number off the wheel would help clarify the issue

    Re: Question about O.Z. wheels

Thanks TwinsnailS4 I guess they are Classe's and from compairing them to my avus's I think they take ball seat.

Doc the part number is 01628200, can you confirm if they use ball seat?

Does anyone know if you can remove the stainless steel lip?

Sorry that part number no longer in our database, the only Superlegg. wheel we still list is a ball seat in your bolt pattern.
