B7 RS4 with RS6 Motor in Russia

So pretty much this car is SICK.. Spoke with the owner of the company who is doing the swap. The car is still Auto, but will be changed over to a 6 speed soon. The engine was fitted in the car and now it will be coming out so it can have Twin GT28 Turbos installed. He will be emailing more pics soon. But damn i love this car!!

Yeah, common sense tells you that taking the RS4 motor out for the RS6 motor is barely an upgrade and not worth the trouble... doing it to an A4 makes much more sense.

First of all the S and RS cars have an S/RS badge on the front grill, not a Quattro badge. And secondly why would you want to take out a beautiful brand new 4.2 V8 for a used engine?

but an Rs6 is auto..hence the 6spd conversion they speak of; though I think it's an s4 -> using rs4 panels(but still missing some) with the c5rs6 engine..

Tiesto... S4 DTM's don't have that badge. The DTM Package was originally for A4's in Europe so it just came with a quattro badge, and that's what it comes with on the S4s here. This whole post is definitely confusing though.

It's an A4 with a DTM body kit. Didn't the OP mention it was Auto? Thought RS4s were manual only, that was my first clue that it wasn't an RS4. None the less, sick conversion if pulled off.

It's obvious this was an A4 to RS4 "look" conversion. If you look at the pictures posted, you'll see similarities.

#1 Same license plate
#2 Same matte black window trim

The first picture posted shows an RS4 body, which could have come off of a salvage Sprint Blue car. There are pieces missing from the front fascia (headlight washer covers), the matte black piece under the middle of the front fascia, and the side skirts are missing. The window trim is the same matte black as in the A4 DTM pictured at the bottom. The mirrors, however, are silver.

Also notice the RS4 body car has a black optic front grille. Unless put on aftermarket, this didn't come with the car because it has silver mirrors and black trim. Or, they replaced the titanium mirrors with silver and took off the side skirts.

It just looks like the guy wanted RS4 looks, and better performance.

And to clarify... an RS6 car with an ECU tune, downpipes, exhaust, and intakes will destroy an RS4. It will also destroy the OEM RS6 automatic tranny, and they've most likely replaced that as well.

Looks like a cool project to me, but VERY unfinished. Yes... the engine looks like it was soaking in mud. Brake cleaner... brake cleaner... jeez.
