Calling all C5 A6/S6/RS6/Allroad owners in NYC.

Hey guys, I was wondering if any C5 A6/S6/RS6/Allroad owners here in brooklyn,queens or LI wanted to start a regular GTG, whether it be weekly, monthly or whatever all ideas are welcome. Not to discreminate from the other audi owners but they all seem to have a larger following than we do. I went to Waterfest on Saturday and the A4/S4s and VWdubs were out in massive numbers. I really just want to know my car better and hope that we will be able to help each other while having a good time hanging out and what not. I also post this question on the North East regional forum. If anyone is interested just post here or pm me.

Would love it -- btw Four allroads at Waterfest today. Why not come out to our GTG in edgewater NJ on Thursday nigts at around 8:00 p.m.? Literally 5 minutes across the GWB. For weeks now I've been to only C5 guy there.

That was my whole reason for starting this thread so that we don't have to travel out of town all of the time, and so that it would only be C5 guys. And if did go out of town we would be able to plan it so that it would be numerous C5 guys all the time. I really just want a local group of C5 guys getting to know our cars and having fun doing it.

Well, there is nowhere to Park in NYC without a major hassle, so that is why Edgewater is a nice alternative. However, if you are coming to Edgewater, make sure your front plate is on and your registration and insurance are current. Certain nights the police can be very active. As long as you don't do anything stupid, they won't hassle you.

As for the C5 guys, we can take over a section of our own at the meet. Sorry if I'm threadjacking here, but it's just an easy thing to jump on and get to at least meet each other.

Agree, maybe we could get some guys off Staten Island, and meet at Toys or Us parking area. but to be honest, i see about 1 C5 every other week or so compare to the BMWs which is about every 5 minutes... Where's all the C5's in Brooklyn, Queens, and S.I ??

well im always at the g2g on thursdays. this thursday we going to the li meet right by the rosevelt field mall. anabody interested we can meet up and cruse there. then we usually go for some food and maybe some drinks. i would love to see some c5s. Call me if interested 917-346-1353 or pm me.

this doesn't apply to me because I own a c6...it seem difficult to put together a GTG in NYC area especially bklyn. I live in bklyn and usually go out to LI on thursday night. Just last week I was at the best buy on old country road but there were more BMWs out there then audis.

Well I don't mind going to LI either as long as everyone is in agreement but I would love for it to be just us C5 guys. By the way slim26 I have nothing against C6 guys either. The A6s is what I was trying to bring together.

YES,,, that's the spot i'm talking about.. it's a big space, and we could have our spot near Best buy, strauss or the HSBC... and it's right off the Bridge, that's why i was suggesting for the Staten Island guys, but it's not too far for the Flushing guys also, nor the L I guys,, the Belt is pretty quick..

it was a while back.. like feb or march.. near strauss, i was talking to these two dudes in a blue A4..

there were A4, A6 (me), and a RS4 , and a shit load of BMW, and one yellow Vett.

Well this is pretty much my last plee, I'm not one that likes to give up easily but I don't won't to beg either even though I said I would. Correct me if I'm wrong but I think some of you guys are willing to come to the meet if we can all agree on a place, A62TTurbo, Skiroad'r(not sure), 04A6SLINE, Kingofnyc & Slim26. IMO I think at first that it can be more of and introductionary meet, so we can all meet each other and the cars. I have plenty of parking in my neighborhood also, I'm like 2 minutes away from Gateway Mall if that would be and option. Let know if you guys are interested , if you are not just let me know that too.
