Hello, I have been trying to look to see if this topic has been covered without any luck.

    I have an 04 S4 and put a set of 19" wheels on the car 19x8.5 front and 19x9.5 rear 235/35ZR19 and 265/30ZR19 ..

I was driving home from the cottage on a long weekend not beating it, driving speed limit when i got off the highway the car stopped, felt like something jammed in the front wheel.. I looked and it was nothing, i tried moving the car and it wouldn't move.. the drive shaft would just spin.

I got it towed to the shop and the guy said its a blow Drive shaft he thinks it is because the staggered setup..

    What do you guys think???

if you want to run a staggered setup, you have to make sure that the overall diameter of the front and rear's are within 5% of one another.

There is less then a 1% difference front to back so I don't think that would be an issue but I believe that any difference over a long period of time will cause additional wear to the center diff. How long have you been running this setup and how aggressively do you drive? You might have just gotten to the failure point and need a replacement would shouldn't be overly expensive provided that the center diff is the only problem.
