My fikse wheels are a few years old now and I want to have them painted or power coated matte black. Anyone know a good wheel painter or power coater in the NY/NJ/CT area?

I've used this place before. They powdercoat everything from lawn furniture to chopper motorcycle parts. Great quality.

powdercoating is a lot more durable than painting.

I would agree with the durability of powercoating but PC wheels always seem to have the look of thick paint. Not sure if its ideal for 3piece wheels

imo, i wouldn't powdercoat or paint your wheels. i would find a wheel repair shop and have them just brighten up the finish. make them look new again. they are polished right? i think coating them would be a waste of your wheels.
