    Re: Throttle Body Alignment

You need about -1.6* of camber, right?

    OK, JK:
the TT crowd, and I've used the same principle on my 01 Avant, simply disconnect the battery for >15m (get your radio code out). This clears the adaptive memory, and allows the ECU to relearn the new driver behavior and flow charaterisitcs of a new/replaced ThB or other "in-air" systems (DP, head, valves, etc.).
The Spartans do not enquire how many enemy there are. They enquire only where they are.

Put you key in accessory mode (one click from start) and wait 2 minutes, it should auto-adapt.

    Re: Throttle Body Alignment

With a vag-com you go into the Engine module, enter either group 060 or 008 in the measuring block sreen (mine is group 008 but others are 060) then click Basic Settings and wait 30-60 seconds.

    Quick search revealed this, http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...=throttle+body

Search button yields all the information you will ever need

    from ross-tech.com:

    Throttle Body Adaptation:

Turn the key on but do not start the car.

    [Select]
    [01 - Engine]
    [Measuring Blocks - 08]
Enter Group 060 (may be Group 098 on some cable-throttle cars)
    [Go!]
    [Switch to basic settings]

Once you do this you will see the top right display say ADP RUN. The TB
adaptation is being done as soon as you switch to basic settings. You will see the values change and hear the TB cycle for the first few seconds then it will stop. Leave it in basic mode for about 30 seconds, then switch back to normal settings and you're all set.

Be sure not to touch the accelerator and make sure the engine is NOT running when you do this!
