    SO today me and a friend did some cc mod and black housing, everything ended up going good and it took us around 10hrs. X_X

    Overall this project was a wonderful experience and the turnout is awesome.

    first off... awesome job.. second off, can i pleasseee see more pictures of the silver car. im dying to see how it looks on my car color..

    and lastly... do you notice your headlights projecting any worse? i was under the impression that you couldnt paint the halogens because you needed the reflection

    no the car does not project any different, its the same to me and my car is quartz grey not silver hahah

    honestly my car is a lease also but who cares, it looks 10x better and im pretty sure the dealer wouldnt mind. If i was the next owner of this car then i would prefer the cc mod and black housing hahah because its 10x better looking. I took the risk and im satisfied with it.

    so you took all the chome pieces out and painted everything else black? The reflectors are held in with screws, if my memory serves me right. I cleared my CC's months ago. I was thinking of doing this but with more of a grey than black...

    BTW, why did it take 10hrs? first time taking off the front clip?

    two cars and we took our time and had to move from my house to my friends house then back to my house for oven use. Taking front bumper is no biggie its just prying apart and putting back the headlights and painting and waiting it to finish to dry and then putting another coat of paint on etc.

    there is no white cap you just remove the yellow thing and just leave it there lol

    i dont remember.. it was for like wood and metal but it dont matter. You dont really need to primer them also because there inside the housing and they wont get messed up by weather.
