New Front Usp Lower Or S4 Advice

I Am Planning On Getting A New Front Bumper. After Reading Several Of The Forums I Read That Installing Simply The Lower Usp Bumper Is Fine, Would I Have To Buy The Grills Also?

Any Advice On Which To Get? Will My Shop Have Problems Installing The Usp Bottom Front And Or The S4 Front Bumper. Thanks

you need to get new grills
and im not sure about the s4 but you need to modify the upper part of the front bumper to make the usp fit

S4 is a one piece bumper.

A "reasonably skilled shop" will probably know how to do it. But even then it might not come out as you expect it to. Search around these forums for USP front conversions and you'll see how much of a bitch it can be.

There is nothing wrong with the S4 bumpers. One of my favorites in fact.

thanks a lot guys, im going to go with the s4 front. does 600 shipped sound good coming off an 05 silver, which i would have to get installed and painted blue.

seems a little expensive you can get a brand new usp front for about 225

the usp front, i would obviously have to get the grill inserts with that as well, and then it wouldnt be 225. well anyway i obviously much rather do that b.c my shop will give me the 20% discount. so i MUCH rather do the usp front due to the price difference and it being brand new, i just dont need a headache with problems with the installation

That's what I was thinking, most people say they don't have much of a problem with it at all.

OP, get whatever you like best. The USP will be cheaper but require a little work, s4 front is more money and a direct fit. Any good shop will be able to do both, I would think.

Im actually trying to make this decision my self anyone know how much the usp grills are going for?? it also seems that you can put a splitter on the usp? and not the S4 (S4 doesn't need it tho. . ) where are you guys looking for prices? and purchasing?

Side grilles are $65 a piece from the dealer for the s4 front

The USP looks great and is cheaper than the s4 front. The grilles are not that much more expensive.
