My buddy has/had power leather seats in his a4 and will be getting rid of it soon. Therefore we swapped out my nasty manual cloth seats for the leather. Does anybody have a wiring diagram or know where to find one, so I can get my seat hooked up?

    Thanks Burky

p.s. i did search but i could find much on seats

i think 98.5's and up had the wiring there, cause they had the electric lumbar even if you had manual seats....(don't quote me on that). but i see you have a 97 so you will probably have to run power to them from somewhere else....75x maybe.

Ive got manual leather seats but theres no power lumbar and theres no xtra wires down there for the seat. Wouldnt you just need to run power to it for it to work since the controls are on there already?

Yeah I think you should and can run it to the 75 terminal its will give you power when your key is in that's all that matters. Good luck with that.

    Re: changing to electric seats

Thanks a lot guys. I knew what I had to do but I was more looking for what color of the wire coming from the seat so I could hook power to the right one without burning up the motor. I don't think I worded my question right. Anyways with a little rigging up a fuse set up I figured it out.
