2.8 exhaust?

i have a 2000 2.8 and im looking to get the exhaust done but dont really know what to do, I took it in yesterday and the guy at the shop said there was a glasspack to mid-muffler and then the muffler itself. so he was thinking about just choppin off the mufflers to see how it sounds and going from there. anyone else with a 2.8 done there exhaust?

theres a glasspack instead of the cats?

if you really have glasspacks you can cut off the mid-muffler (resonator) and put on 2 new mufflers... (you can cut the bumper the have the exposed exhaust look too like i did on mine

Im not 100% sure that they are glasspacks but when i looked at them they werent big at all but i might try your idea. how does yours sound? do you have any sound clips of it?
