Just got back from day 1

Great turnout! Some of the cars in the exhibition were nicer then cars in the show area. I don't think it will be like that tomorrow. Recognized a bunch of cars from AZ but no one hung out around there cars except for Shawn from 1552 v.2. Excited for tomorrow. Maybe we could arrange an AZ meeting spot and time to get some faces with the names?

Dude we had Four AZ tents setup, and I even handed out nametags for peoples real names/nicknames! Where were you? If you go tomorrow and you can't find AZ, call me (Brian - 609-892-one five four four)

We had so many hot dogs and hamburgers and chips and sodas I ended up taking home more food than I brought! I'll bring it all back tomorrow...lets eat it!

It was in between the auto-x course and the vendor area. Great spot.

Also thank you to whoever lent my their set of allen keys. My god damn dbw throttle body took a crap on my right BEFORE I started auto-x in the morning so I had to deal with limp mode throughout the entire event (still pulled a 44.x second time without ANY boost).

After the event, I found a vendor selling a used dbw throttle body and I replaced my broken on (with the help of someone's allen keys) in the exhibition area and was able to drive my car home good as new.

Awesome day. Hot as hell though.

I(in modded silver R32) actually parked right behind Sable's Red A4 Avant that sambrody took in that picture on saturday. It looked really good & i noticed the audizine.com sticker on the side but knowone was by the car at the time. This was my first Waterfest and I was completely blown away. I didn't take down my stock A4, but used this weekend to talk to all the vendors and see what it was all about. Can't wait to drive down my own car next year.

I pretty much took a picture of every Audi/Avant in the show and exhibition area, will post later.
