Almost done with the long block tomorrow will mount the heads,valve covers and intake manifold... The valve cover is ceramic coated and then wrinkle coated in red...

Pretty much just finished as far as I can get until I get a few small parts. Took some pics of my new style RS4 pipes I just finished thought they would look good next to the red for the pic, I'm not using those pipes I will be using the aluminum ones we had made which are a little larger in diameter..

I just have everything laying on the motor so no dirt gets in it, today i will take everything off and assembly everything...

Thanks! I just finished putting the motor back together and found a o ring the size of a quarter actually a tad larger laying under where the intake manifold goes in the front passenger corner, i cant figure out were it belongs for the life of me...

Rods,bearings and rings, but other then that all stock 2.7 parts

Yeah- thats where it should be goin!

I was going to say the same thing. Had mine leak before and looks like the same O ring from the pic. I remember mine being rubber though...wasn't sure if that was or not?

Give that a shot man- make sure its seated good, otherwise...COOLANT all over.

Ya thats what i thought but that pipe has a ring on it and it's a little smaller ring then the one i posted, maybe it doesnt even go to my car

looks like the o-ring that goes from manifold to turbo, right? the metal o-ring? holla

Its not medal, i put a quarter in the center of the ring to show as a reference... Maybe its been laying under the manifold since the factory
