I put a deposit on the replacement for my S4 today. A 2009 M3 Sedan (Yes I know the picture is a coupe but that's the only one I could find of the color I ordered). Production scheduled for September and delivery in November. It's going to be a long 4 month wait.

Yeah it is a bummer than the sedan doesn't get the CF roof because it looks pretty sweet on the coupe. I didn't get the moonroof either though. I never used mine anyway and the seams were just traps for old wax.

She looks nice but you will miss your S. When I came to the island I bought my A4 from a Navy O-5 who bought an M3, I saw him a couple months later and he missed his Audi. I bought my S4 from an Army O-3 who bought an M5 and he misses his Audi. This should tell you something. Good luck regardless. I'll look forward to seeing you on the H-1, pulling in front of you, slowing down, and letting you read my rear plate.

I'm sure I'll miss it for awhile. But it'll pass. New toys always seem to cheer me up. It was a sad day yesterday when I had to drop off my wheels to the person who bought it. I still don't see too many sets like it after all these years. I think there's maybe a handful on the island. One on a IS300, G35, and Camaro Z28 were the ones is saw.

Still haven't seen one on the road. Too bad that CF roof only comes on the coupe. They have an option for CF leather interior trim (basically a leather trim with a CF like pattern to it) but I didn't get it because my gf said looking at it made her dizzy. I didn't really like it either.

I didn't. I wanted to test drive an RS4 but after sitting in it I decided it just wasn't for me. Plus Audi just wants too much for that car. I also looked at an S6 but same story plus the sales people were very rude to us when we went there. Nobody wanted to help us or talk to us at all.

The price of the RS4s on island is ridiculous. They offered me 20,000 trade in for my B5 if I bought the RS4. I told them I'd think about it if I could put my stock parts back on and keep my wheels and suspension. Then I thought about it more and was like man do I really want to owe that much on a car you could get on the mainland for much less.

Yes it's the C63. No I didn't get to test drive it. I asked about it and MB told me that they do not bring any in unless they are ordered. They said if I wanted one, I could order it, then they would call me when it gets in to test drive it. Then I would have a certain amount of time (I think it was 24 hours) to either commit on it or pass. The order still required a $1000 deposit which you would get back if you passed. Then if you passed they would offer the car to the next person in line. While I would've done it, they said even an ordered car was at least 6 months away from delivery so I would have had to wait 6 months just to test drive it.

I did check out the C350 just to get a feel for the interior and I didn't really care for it. The whole thing just didn't feel right for me. The pop out nav screen is damn ugly too. I'd say the BMW interior is much nicer. Still not as nice as an Audi though.
