    Just picked up an 01 225 TT about 2 months ago and a buddy in the navy referred me here. Just wanted to say hello and see what kind of locals we have around. I live in Portsmouth Virginia so if there are any locals that need help lowering and such feel free to shoot me an email. I am looking for a local with the vag tool so I can scan my esp and abs light tripping on and off.

    you should check out autozone or something to get your car scanned. i believe they let you borrow the scanners for free.

    otherwise, ill be in richmond in a few days if u can make it out there. or even DIY day a bunch of us will have our vag-coms.

    It is a 2001, gen 2. Autozone will let you scan your car, but I am not throwing a check engine light. I am throwing abs and esp codes, their scanner scans for CEL's right? Doesn't vag com scan for audi and vw specific coding?

    just got back from autozone, it only scans check engine lights. i need to find someone with the tool locally. i dont think i will make it to the diy meet, i have to do an install tomorrow for a set of springs on a tc.

    I will have the viper at Jenro's around 5:30ish. I will text message you when I get there. If anyone else wants to see it or meet up there are alot of classic cars/kit cars/ high end sports cars that meet every Saturday at Jenros on Independence Blvd. It is in the Diary Queen shopping center. I should have the only bumblebee viper there but if the other guy shows up, his is a convertible with after market stripes.

    Wow that thing is fast. John gave my wife and I a ride in the "bumble bee" and luckily there weren't any cops around. Lots of great classic cars at Jenro's but not many nice modern cars (lots of Stangs if that's your thing.) Great way to spend an hour or two though.
