    brake question

i was wondering how do-able it would be to put stock front brakes off an a4 on the rear of the same car and put some sort of bigger front brake off of an s8, a8, s6, etc, on the front. would there need to be any major modification to get them to fit. i hate how small my rear brakes look but i am not willing to spend thousands to fix it. i figure i could easily find someone who has upgraded their brakes and get their stock ones cheap. thoughts.

For the rears, just get caliper covers if you think they look too small.

    Re: brake question

Bottom line.....you can do anything you want but if you put 288mm in the rear and 312 or bigger up front, then you'll screw up your bias....you don't want that. If you're going to put 288mm in the rear, I'm pretty sure you might need to move the caliper from the fronts....not sure if the S4 rear caliper would be strong enough. If you move the caliper from the front it won't bolt up directly. Sounds like a little too much work. I'd say 312 A8 up front and 269mm A8 Rears.....
