Of course you can paint the chrome, but it will look like you painted the chrome. This is the OEM solution for the blacked out window trim.

Your old trim is removed and this is a direct replacement. We will have a DIY up once we get it done on our project car.

$750 is a little pricey for sure. Someone here lay over black vinyl over the chrome. That's a really nice and wayy cheaper alternative IMO.

LOL, Chrome.

Apparently "chrome" doesn't oxidize the way aluminum does. So those of you that have decided to paint your trim...only to find out later that it chips off so easily. GG, it's not chrome.

It's a two year old tread so it's not really new lol.

I brought it back up after I got pissed at my shadowline I bought, and want a better solution to vinyl.

The first ones to actually get the part numbers from Audi? Very innovative. Good on them though. But $750 is entirely too expensive IMO.
