I have an 02 B6 1.8t Quattro. I'm not sure if it 's the brakes or the pedal. When I hit the brakes sometimes the brakes/pedal sticks if I tap the pedal after there stuck sometimes more than once they brake free. When they are stuck there not locked up because I can still drive with out feeling an friction. When driving the only way I can tell they are stuck is the thrid brake light is on. And sometime if driving during the day I can't tell the thrid brake light is on and then the tracktion control light comes on. Any help please.
    Thanks.

You need to replace your brake light switch. 3B0 945 511 C
