Where exactly are they . I want to just try a quick lube with that. I'm going to do all the control arms and tie rod ends this winter but I have a few squeakers.

WD40 wont do anything about the squeaking. You should use bushing grease, also found at car parts store.

You shouldn't spray WD-40 on rubber. Petroleum products degrade rubber. You should use a silicon spray or bushing grease as VMRWheels said.

charles is right.. use bushing grease. I would suspect WD40 would dry out or have ill effects on the rubber. Of course..one time probably won't hurt - i just wouldn't make it a habit.

Now WD-40 did fix my squeaking windows. right as they start to roll down they would make a quick squeak. i sprayed my window down liberally and it went away. the windows look a little blurry now, the tint is starting to peel and my car smells funny.. but no more squeak!

You put WD-40 on your windows!! Not good. Next time you have windows that squeak put a little Pledge on them. The wax in the Pledge will stop the squeak without streaking, smelling bad and it won't damage your tint.

Pledge - not a bad idea, that would smell much better. i'm thinking about laying a bead of silicone caulk above the rubber. i think it will help absorb vibrations and dampen the squeak.
