Hello and welcome to the Audizine Newsletter for July 2008. It's begun, the summer season is in full swing and we're all as busy as ever. Between washing the car on a weekly basis, installing those new mods you've been hoarding all winter, checking out your favorite motorsport events, and hitting up the local get-togethers or the bigger car shows, it's going to be a jam-packed next few months. We've got some of that for you below, with information on the upcoming shows and events and wrap-ups on the world of motorsport. Our other familiar features are here too, with this month's Featured AZ'er and details on our latest and greatest feature release - The all-new Audizine Classifieds. A newly developed Turbo FSI petrol engine available from this week for the Audi A5 provides the sought-after coupe with yet another choice blend of pace and pence-per-mile efficiency. The new 211PS A5 2.0 TFSI can be ordered in either front-wheel-drive or quattro permanent all-wheel-drive forms, and will reach its first European customers in August. 
Increased visual impact and enhanced comfort are the key ingredients in the new Audi A6 2.0 TDI Limited Edition, which joins the European A6 range this week. Available exclusively in conjunction with the 2.0-liter, 140PS TDI engine, and taking the A6 in SE form as its starting point, the new Limited Edition model features an alloy wheel upgrade from a 17-inch five-spoke star design to a polished 18-inch twelve-spoke, and inside swaps Meridian cloth upholstery for supple Milano leather. 
Audi showed a dominant performance at the sixth DTM round at Zandvoort and, like last year, celebrated a one-two-three-four victory in the Netherlands. It was the new Audi A4 DTM’s best result so far and Audi’s 45th victory in the DTM. One day before his 30th birthday, title defender Mattias Ekström celebrated his second exploit of the season, after winning the season opener at Hockenheim. Following the twelfth DTM triumph of his career, the two-time champion is now the best Audi driver in DTM history. 
Small errors, big impact. That is the bottom line for Audi after the fifth round of the American Le Mans Series at Lime Rock (U.S. state of Connecticut). In front of an impressive crowd, Audi’s diesel sports car was the fastest car of the field. However, Team Audi Sport North America had to settle for fourth place overall and a victory in the LM P1 class after a thrilling race.
