this is probably a stupid question but i'm an audi noob. anyways, for the 2002 B6 does sport suspension only come with 17" wheels or can you get it with the standard 15" wheels?

It's part of the "Sport Package;" wheels, suspension, and rear sway as well I believe.

yeah i thought that was the case as well, but the previous owners of the a4 i just bought said it had the sport package but it only had the 15" rims... also it does look lower than other a4's i've seen of the same year....

Yes, the 17" wheels were part of the sport package and not available without it. In 2002, only the 16" wheels were a separate option. The front stabilizer bar was also upgraded as part of the package, not just the rear.

There is a sticker in your trunk with your build codes listed on it. 1BE is the code for sport suspension. C1X is the 17" 5 spoke wheels that accompany it.

yeah, but you don't want tosee 18" wheels with non-sport suspension, it looks like a truck! you never want that. always get lowering suspension, coilovers etc, and then get wheels. don't cut corners, you will waste more money!

IF there is a sticker in the trunk. My Avant does not have such an item but does have the factory 2002 sport suspension package (F&R sway bars, F strut tower bar, upgraded springs and shock absorbers and 17inch factory wheels)

yeah just post a pic, it'll be easy to tell from a profile. Or if you want to know for sure, jack it up and take a pic of the shocks. Sport shocks are red (IIRC) and non sport are black.
