    Help with resonators.

    please shine some light on me please! i just ordered a magnaflow 14862 muffler and now im looking for a resonator. anybody have any advice on a resonator?

    If all you ordered was the muffler then you'll barely hear it as it is, because you already have a big resonator in the middle-end area of your stock exhaust. Getting another one would undo the purpose of getting a new muffler. If you like sound I would have them cut the stock resonator off when they are putting the magnaflow on. I did it and it sounds real good.

    yea, I'm getting a custom exhaust made up next week and I'm not going to use a resonator either. The stock one is massive as well. I think magnaflow does make some mid pipes as well as flowmaster. I'd look there first.
