    Our washers at the dragstrip....

    Anyone else running them?
There has been some talk but I just got back from a little test n tune with the S and on pump gas with my 225-40-18 general uhp tires I had 60' of 2.1 blowing the tires off at 36psi then dropped to 23psi and went a 1.64 and 1.72.
I have gone 1.6xs before the washers also but they don't seem to hurt at all and maybe help. Anyone else really run them out there yet?
And no don't ask to see the slips cause I'm not showing them

Re: Our washers at the dragstrip....

I don't think anyone's ever been convinced this would really aid a launch much at all (if any)...but I can tell you from my personal experience, the car is simply sublime in the rain when cornering (and the dry too...duh). I've been kicking some serious tail at my local auto-x events. Last few events had me 8th overall out of roughly 100 cars.
(Still running a K03 in my A4, so I KNOW power has nothing to do with my success...lol)

Re: Our washers at the dragstrip....

I used to run a high bias diff and it does not effect the launch at all whatosever...

The only time the diff upgrade was noticable for me was exiting a turn under full load.
