Really feeling like that would get in the way of other instruments and get really annoying... it's probably set up so you have to tilt the wheel all the way down in order to make it a practical system. I wouldn't; mount it on the pillar or somewhere on your dash.

I attempted to make a pillar monted cluster (and sell it) but was told it messed with the airbag system so I never got the balls to do it.

a boost gauge is a gauge, your buying quality usually like the connectors and build of gauge, accuracy and such. people seem to like winstos so go with that

    Re: Opinions please

The podi has the same interference with visibility, and from what I understand, also requires the steering column to be lowered. That's enough of a turnoff for me for both units.

Just barely. You'd have to have a really weird driving position (or really short arms and really long legs) to have this interfere with your comfort.

And personally, I like how the Podi blocks just a little bit of the gauges... now I don't have the ever increasing mileage of my car staring me in the face every time I drive it!

Oops, I was referencing the post above. Sorry Darrick.

You don't really have to lower anything with the podi. Unless, of course, you are frequently driving under 20MPH and are dying to know exactly how fast you are going.

Don't buy that shit. Support an AZ'er and spend 40 more bucks and get something tested and approved

Actually we don't have the same interference at all. We block less.

Need the steering column to be lowered? Don't know why you would need that as our pod replaces the OEM one perfectly.

We also don't need you to drill holes to run wires, use velcro or double sided tape to fasten the pod to the OEM cover.

But then I'm not trying to sell you as to which one is better.

If you are looking at saving some money... check out our 'scratch& ding' sale that is going on now.

And before you ask me how bad the scratch or ding is... you should ask the people who have bought them.

Some are STILL looking for it.
