Cincy/nky Gtg Thread! 7/26/08

Hey all who plan on being there! Here is the update on whats going on.

JULY 26th
from 5ish on....

Food, Beer, Cars, Games!

Jared and i are putting this together. Yes Jared since you started the cincy thread, you are involved now.

We need to know how many people so we know how much to get, beer and food. Everyone will be chippin in a few bucks if your planning on enjoying said products. lol So let me know if you want to eat and drink.

This is weather permitting so if rain is in forcast, we can make it another day. Dont want those r8's getting rained on!

PLEASE PLEASE let me know if you plan on coming. It would help big time.

I have cornhole boards and a badminton set but if anyone wants to bring another cornhole set, it would help.

My street is not busy at all and good enough parking for at least 20 cars right by the house and if we have alot more than that, we can park in backyard of my house, its flat dont worry.

Hope to see ya there to check out some cars! Grill out some burgers and have some fun!

Please do not plan on getting wasted or i will take your keys and not let you drive. This is a social event, not a bar. Dont want to be part of somebody wreckin their audi!

Like Dan said, lets make this a great GTG!!! Even though there will be a keg, we ask that everyone drink responsibly. We just want a head-count so we know how much food to buy and if we need a half or full barrel keg.

It'd also be cool if any of you are photographers and want to bring your cameras and camcorders so we can get some good visuals of the event. Please reply back if you'd be willing to help out with this.

Holy hell. That sounds to me like a typical out of warranty Audi! And yes, I know i'm weaksauce for not making it. Ive been in town for a total of 2 of the last 9 weekends! Last weekend I was tasked with the difficult chore of driving my buddies 07 911TT down to South Carolina, and trading it in on an 08 CLK63 Black Series and driving it all the way back to dayton through the mountains while he is in Sweden. Needless to say the little A4 felt like such crap after that trip! My car should be here this weekend, someone can come steal it and take it to the meet if they want!

Yeah, at first when driving it I wasnt that big of a fan. It took about 15 minutes to get comfortable in the car and really unleash hell. The exhaust note on the thing is one of the most amazing sounds I have ever heard in my life. The 7 speed tranny on the other hand is not something im too fond of. It kind of has a mind of its own. But hammering down the throttle and unleashing all 518hp is unreal. Its honestly one of the greatest cars I've ever driven. As for the weekend, ill be boating and drinking all weekend! And the girl im going with will be none to happy if I ditch her for a car thing this weekend considering she came along for the ride with me last weekend!

Where did you take it? How much did they charge?

performance alignment, it may take you a few days to get in. i made my appointment last week. its $100 for a four wheel alignment and their labor rate is $85 an hour, but they do a better job than most places around here from what i've heard. they are specifically suspension oriented.
