EGT brown box vs Black box

My right side (passenger side) egt is bad. I finally got one from Shokan, and of course I verified the part number with them : 078919529

But I didnt make sure they got the right color - Mine is black box

So of course they send a brown box. I just opened it tonight and havnt tried putting it in yet.

So I've heard that you can interchange these boxes, and I've also heard that the connectors may not be the same.

My question is will this brown box work for the passenger side if it originally had black box? I guess no matter what I'll find out tomorrow after work when i go to put the thing in. Just thought I'd ask about it ahead of time.

It'll work just fine, but you may have to jimmy rig the way the box is mounted.
