Hi folks,
haven't posted anything for the B7 for a while. Thanks for all your Pms and thanks to the guys who got their headlights from me recently .
The good news:
It's been a real long time but now I have one completey S-Line setup availible again.
So what's included in the asking price:
(as usual):
- L+R euro bixenon housings with clear corner caps (used)
- all lightbulbs
- OEM xenon ballasts (new)
- OEM xenon bulbs, osram 4300°K (new)
- kufatec adapter harness for upgraders from halogen (new)
- overseas shipment USA/canada (flat, no zip required)
Attention: This is an ultra rare version that comes with the curvelight feature. Nothing of importance for upgraders from halogen but good to know for those who need to replace damaged factory bixenons. Most north american B7 with factory bixenon have this feature.
Condition:
Here comes the bad news: This set has one major problem: Right and left housings come from different cars. It's not bad under daylight conditions but definitely noticeable from a very close distance. I have taken plenty of pictures to allow every potential buyer to get a feeling for this.
Second: One headlight got new tabs installed (absolutely no problem). Noticed a few scratches (not a biggie, not visible at the pics).
My asking price reflects the mentioned issues: USD 875.
To answer the common FAQ's:
- Will the S-Lines fit non-S-Line vehicles?
Of course they do. It's only the clear signals that is different. Nothing else.
- Will the levellers work if I upgrade from factory halogens?
No, of course not. Don't forget the axles of cars with factory halogens miss the sensors for auto levelling.
- Is it plug&play?
The adapter harness is included in my sale. Two separate wires attached to the harness have to be routed under the dash. They are for highbeams and DRLs.
- Do you have 6000°K bulbs by any chance?
No. Not street legal in europe .
- Can they be used to replace my damaged factory bixenons?
Yes, this set has the adaptive curvelight feature!!!!!
- How do I adjust them?
There are two hex-knobs on the top of the housings. One is for up/down, the other one for left/right adjustment.
- Do I have to VAG the car?
The lowbeams and signal would work without having the car VAG'ed. So it's not neccessary to do it asap. To enable the DRLs and highbeams the car has to be set to xenon modus. This shouldn't take any longer than 3 minutes.
- When do you expect the next set if I miss this one?
Always very hard to say. I am already working on this.
