    http://dv.mistertam.com/5.htm

read the secteion " interpretating results" for the recommended install orientation of other DV like forge 007, Stratmosphere ,Bailey...etc

Lots of good information in there, good reading

The longest piece in the TIP, the connection in line with it on the opposite side to the wastegate and the boost signal to the one inline with the plug

    Re: Is this orientation correct?

    perfect picture, thanks martini.
So heres the deal, i had a kink in the line going from turbo to the n75, straightened that out. unplugged then replugged n75, disconnected battery for several hours, turned car on, no CEL. Turned car off without moving or putting it into gear, turn back on CEL.

My question is, if I drive out of boost for a couple days, and everything is actually fixed my CEL will go away, correct? And if the problem does not go away, should i do a boost leak check? I've been getting an overboost problem which is why i'm effing around with the n75

    THANKS

    Re: Is this orientation correct?

not every diagnostic will run every key cycle... so theres a good chance you can key up and not get a code to set and a MIL if that diagnostic hasnt run... with that said, any boost related ones should be running all the time..

if you fix the problem, the diagnostic has to run and pass on three seperate key cycles... and then on the fourth the CEL will turn off but the code will be stored in history for the next 30 key cycles

this is true for any emissions related diagnostic

if you are overboosting, it is highly unlikely you have a boost leak.

    Re: Is this orientation correct?

alright cool, i should technically find out if it's fixed by the end of tomorrow. Now if i go through 3 more key cycles (even though i have already done one) and it still fails the diagnostic, and my hoses are all going to the right place... time for a new n75?

    Re: Is this orientation correct?

not sure of the code, it was scanned at autozone and came up with "overboost" and some other boost controller error. Oh and the map sensor or readings (if i remember correctly) were off, which if i'm correct, could be from the n75 problem

    Re: Is this orientation correct?

oh snap, i did just do my racetec install...

I tightened the sensor down like a bastard... now that I think of it, I'm going to hate myself if I didn't plug it back in. Probably wouldnt get the high voltage if it wasnt plugged in though.

Anyways thats pretty much the exact link i need right there. I forgot that the odb II scanner said something regarding high voltage.

Time to try and unplug replug that little guy. what would you suggest, unplug, plug back in, disconnect battery and start up again?
