Just like every 1 else with a s4... having problems with boost..
No boost gauge pickign 1 up soon
PRessure tested and did not hear any leaks
replaced DV's brand new TT Dv's
No unusuall sounds from the turbos

My car is stock with a GIac chip it ran very quick for the first week i had it. One day it just felt like it wasent boosting as hard as before. How could i tell if the N75 Valve needs to be replaced. I have 90k Miles and it has never been replaced before.
    Any ideas Please let know.
Im pressure testing again tonight just to make sure but please dont say " YOu need a boost gauge" or " Pressure test' cuz obviously i know this .. i want more info on if this could be caused by the N75

Re: Another Boost Problem of course.

You need to VAG the car. You could be in limp mode without even knowing it.

There are several ways the car can go into limp mode. Depending on what the problem is, yeah, you can usually clear it with VAG com.

got my car scanned by my friend on here i can post the logs when he sends me them but there was really No codes that looked terrible just the Egt or w.e sensor. One question is it hard to find the T fitting for the boost guage from a autopart store??

No its not hard to find the T fitting at all. I found mine in an Advanced Auto. It should be in the area where the silicone hoses are.

Re: Another Boost Problem of course.

What codes did your car throw? EGT? That can cause a definite loss of power. Also, what is the w.e sensor?

just set up my boost guage i have a stage 1 on giac chip the boost guage goes up to about 13 and holds there so im guessing that i have no boost leaks that the sensor just needs to get changed

I'd spike at 17 and taper to 15 with the GIAC. Hot days though would only produce like 13-14psi.

hmm it was hot yesterday i guess but idk because i have felt the car is alot slower then when i first got the chip

So what should i look into other then the EGT ?? Can that be causing boost loss??
    N75?
I will pressure test again tonight or tommorow just in case i missed something but i highly doubt it

if you have access to VAG you can log the duty cycle... if its erratic that usually means its dead... im drawing a big blank on the block in VAG for it though sorry!
