Tell me if I got this correct. If I purchase the KEY+USB adapter from Ross-Tech, than the software is registered with any computer the adapter is used in? The reason I ask is because I will be using my brother's laptop until I get my own in a couple of months and don't want to pay the $99 for the software license and have it the registration locked to his computer. I feel that the extra $150 is well worth the price if it'll allow me to use the registered software in any computer.

My understanding is the new Ross-Tech cables contain the serial number built into the cable and the software can be installed on any computer.

• If you bought a Dongle Interface (such as a KEY-, HEX-, or MICRO- series) directly from Ross-Tech, you do not need to register it. You are already registered!
• If you bought your Dongle Interface (such as a KEY-, HEX-, or MICRO- series) through a distributor you should to submit the this form in order to become eligible for tech support.

That's correct I use HEX (K-line) Smart interface and I can use it on any computer. Very convenient.
