Did i install this correctly?

I finally got around to installing my snub mount after about a year of it sitting in my closet. I was just wondering if i installed it correctly and if the mount is supposed to sit farther into the housing? also is the bottom of the mount supposed to sit on the bottom of the housing? because when it has direct contact the car vibrates a good amount but i have a mm gap now and the vibrations are much less.

i also found this interesting picture when i searched snub mount on photobucket, what do you guys think?

and by the way the radiator support seems to be pushed all the way back into its original position and i put all the bolts back to cpnnect the rad support to the fenders, and tightened all the bummper shock bolts as well so i dint even know if the mount can be pushed in any farther.

Wish I could help you but it's been about a year since I did mine. I do remember it not feeling quite right in there but it worked. My car vibrates quite a bit at idle with the A/C on and sometimes with it off but I think that might have been my bad MAF. I'll know for sure when I get my new one tomorrow.

Which snub mount is that?

The pics you posted up of a snub all the way inside the housing is from a completely different type of setup seeing that the housing is mounted to the radiator support not the engine bracket like our cars have. It also uses a different engine bracket that sits next to the engine not directly below it.

What snub did you install? You might have pushed the snub on to far or maybe even put it on backwards if it is a Stern snub which has a hole on both sides but the lip is offset to one side, the lip needs to be installed so it is closer to the side that goes onto the post.

When I was installing mine I had no idea which way to put it on (APR, hole on both sides with the offset lip.) I searched and couldn't find any info. Now I don't even remember which way I put it on but it's probably on backwards. How bad would that be?
