hey i am new and wanted to know are those the stock S4 calipers as they do not look so and if not what are they and how well do they stop?

Almost positive those are the stock calipers and they're painted with an added "S4" decal to clean them up a bit. It's in the OP's description at the top.

Welcome to AZ, these are stock calipers painted black with an Epoxy kit from G2. You can get the decals off Ebay, if your calipers are rusty looking this is a very easy fix. Before I go Stage 3+ I will get a real deal Big Brake Kit (BBK), but these look pretty good for stockies

I'm liking the way it still retains a lot of the stock features, but the little things like painted calipers and the wheels really set it off. great car!!!

If you type in "S4 Caliper Decal" on Ebay it will come up, if I remember correctly it was from XenonMods. You can also do the same for "G2 Caliper Paint" and I think it's available at TireRack as well. It's really best to put your car up on jackstands so you can take your time and properly apply the paint as it cures within a couple of hours after mixing. 2-3 coats with 15mins of drying inbetween will get you really good results!

i was the one who originally had those caliper decals made. I think they look great... if you haven't already, i'd spray a few clear coats on top to help keep them on there.

Thanks dude, that was probably your car that came up when I searched it and gave me this idea. Your car has the upgraded cross-drilled rotors right?

I got a total of 6 decals so I have another 2 sets to throw on when they get worn. The white sticks out imo so I asked the owner if he can replace the white with grey for a more subtle appearance. It's only $12 so why not . . .
