Is there a cheaper ipod interface than the stock audi one?

i think its like 400 bucks to have a dock added into the glovebox and be able to work the ipod from the steering wheel but is there a cheaper aftermarket product to do the same thing? thanks.

I have the Blitzsafe adapter and it works fine w/ an iPhone.

This is not cheaper. But IMO, a great place for the ipod/iphone. I'm getting this pretty soon actually.

ehh a bit expensive. and the buttons that its blocking i actually use a lot. but i appreciate the suggestion

I'm actually not sure how much it blocks those buttons. I'd like to see it from a different angle.

Thanks for the ideas. I actually like the idea of the ipod being in the glove box and out of sight. The Dice cable looks like it could just be run to there similar to what the stock audi set up would be and it could save me $150 or so.
